Refund Policy
All On a Plod tickets are non-refundable as standard. Here's the full policy, including when we may consider a refund in exceptional circumstances.
Refund Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. However, when you purchase an On a Plod ticket, your place is reserved and we begin committing costs towards delivering the event.
For this reason, all On a Plod tickets are non-refundable as standard.
Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refund requests in genuinely exceptional circumstances. These requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.
If you are requesting a refund due to exceptional circumstances, we may ask you to provide reasonable supporting evidence before we can consider your request.
Examples of circumstances we may consider include:
- Bereavement involving an immediate family member
- A serious unexpected medical emergency or hospitalisation
- Jury service or another unavoidable legal obligation
- Other serious and exceptional circumstances outside of your reasonable control
Any decision will be made by On a Plod based on the individual circumstances and evidence provided.
Injuries
Unfortunately, running injuries, training injuries, illness, fitness issues or being unable to take part because you are not sufficiently fit or prepared are not considered grounds for a refund.
Injury is an inherent risk when training for and taking part in running and fitness activities, and we strongly recommend taking this into consideration before purchasing a ticket.
This includes injuries occurring both before and after purchasing your ticket.
Change of Plans
Refunds will not normally be provided because:
- You can no longer attend
- Your work or personal plans have changed
- You have booked another event or activity
- Travel or accommodation arrangements have changed
- You have changed your mind
- You have not trained as much as you intended
- You are injured or unable to run
- You accidentally purchased a ticket without checking the event date, location or details
Please check all event information carefully before purchasing.
Event Cancellation, Rescheduling or Material Changes
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
If On a Plod cancels an event, reschedules it, changes its location or makes another material change to the event, any refund rights will be communicated directly to ticket holders and dealt with in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you have an exceptional reason for being unable to attend, please contact us with:
- Your full name
- The event you are registered for
- Your booking or order details
- The reason for your request
- Any supporting evidence we reasonably request
Please provide as much information as possible when contacting us.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the criteria above or where sufficient evidence cannot be provided.
Ticket Purchases
By purchasing a ticket for an On a Plod event, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
