It's a looped format: a 3km course you can repeat as many times as you like within the event window.

Run, jog, or walk.

Tick off laps at the Race Hub, refuel, and head back out when you're ready.

One lap is just as valid as ten.

You choose your finish line.

Is it a race?

Not really.

Some people come to run their first ever 5k.

Some people come to see how far they can go.

Both get exactly the same finish line energy.

Question 3

What's included with a runner ticket?

This changes slightly from event to event but generally includes:

Race Hub access, your number and wristband, hydration and fuel support, unlimited beers, partner activations, photography, community content and access to the after party.

Check the individual event page for the exact details for your event.

What should I bring?

Your ticket confirmation, running kit, something warm for the Race Hub afterwards and any personal nutrition you prefer.

Everything else tends to take care of itself.

What's at the Race Hub?

The Race Hub is the centre of everything.

Registration, bag drop, changing rooms, showers, food, drinks, partners, supporters and the after party all live there.

Because you come back every 3km, the atmosphere never really disappears.

Hydration and fuelling?

Hydration and electrolytes are available at the Race Hub every lap.

Additional support comes from our event partners.

You're also welcome to bring any nutrition you prefer.

Then you're probably exactly where you're meant to be.

A huge percentage of people at our events run further than they ever have before.

That might be 6km.

That might be a marathon.

Both count.

Yes.

Social Plods are our free community runs and are open to everyone.

Can run clubs get involved?

We're trying to support as many good people doing cool things in running as possible.

Too many people, too many feet, not fair on the dog.

You can - but honestly the Race Hub atmosphere is a big part of the day.

Maybe leave one ear out.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We plod anyway.

Only a genuine safety issue would change that, and we'd tell you in plenty of time.

Can I leave the event and come back?

The Race Hub is where the day lives, so most people stay put between loops.

If you need to nip out, chat to a marshal - we'd rather know.

Do I need to run for the full five hours?

Not at all.

One lap counts.

You choose your finish line.

What time does it start?

Race Hub opens 13:00.

Race start 14:00 - start any time you want between 14:00 and 18:00.

Race finish 19:00. Awards 19:20. After party 19:30.

Jubel party 15:00-22:00. Race Hub closes 22:00.

Arrive 45+ mins before your race start to get registered, warmed up and set up on the tracking system.

Is there parking?

There is no parking on site.

Google Maps will guide you into the industrial estate - do not park in there as it will auto give you a ticket.

There is street parking nearby if essential.

Exchange Quay tram stop - 5 min walk.

Ordsall Hall bus stop - 1 min walk.

Wharfside tram stop - 15 min walk.

What is your refund policy?

All On a Plod tickets are non-refundable as standard.

We may consider refund requests in genuinely exceptional circumstances (such as bereavement or a serious medical emergency), reviewed on a case-by-case basis with supporting evidence.

Running injuries, illness, fitness issues and change of plans are not considered grounds for a refund.
